چکیده
This identity allows to map interacting fermion system onto the system of noninteracting fermions coupled with fluctuating auxilary field. One uses a path integral formulation of a problem to eliminate the interaction term. We divide the imaginary time interbal [0, β] into Lequal subintervals of width ∆τ : L∆τ = β. After doing that we can rewrite equation for the partitionfunction Z as: Z = Tre−β(H0+H1) = Tr L ∏

Kinetic Monte Carlo simulations and cross-sectional scanning tunneling microscopy as tools to investigate the heteroepitaxial capping of self-assembled quantum dots
The growth of self-assembled quantum dots has been intensively studied in the last decade. Despite substantial efforts, a number of details of the growth process remain unknown. The reason is the inability of current characterization techniques to image the growth process in real time. In this work, this limitation is alleviated by the use of kinetic Monte Carlo simulations in conjunction with ...

متن کاملHerwig++ Monte Carlo At Next-To-Leading Order for ee annihilation and lepton pair production
This paper describes the MC@NLO method for matching next-to-leading order (NLO) perturbative QCD with the parton shower and hadronization model of the Monte Carlo (MC) event generator Herwig++, for e+e− annihilation and Drell-Yan lepton pair production. Details of the event generation method as well as spin, flavour, momentum and colour assignments are presented. We obtain predictions for vario...
متن کاملMonte Carlo Studies of Ising Spin Glasses and Random Field Systems
We review recent numerical progress in the study of finite dimensional strongly disordered magnetic systems like spin glasses and random field systems. In particular we report in some details results for the critical properties and the non-equilibrium dynamics of Ising spin glasses. Furthermore we present an overview over recent investigations on the random field Ising model and finally of quan...
متن کاملProbabilistic representation of fermionic lattice systems
Quantum Monte Carlo methods are powerful techniques for the numerical evaluation of the properties of quantum lattice systems. In the case of fermion systems [1–4] there are special features connected with the anticommutativity of the variables involved. In a recent paper [5] progress has been made by providing an exact probabilistic representation for the dynamics of a Hubbard model. Here we i...
